Opponents are Keresley, from Coventry. Kick off 2.00pm.

Due to the poor weather over the last few weeks ticket sales for this year's Panto at the Wyggs have been slow. It promises to be a cracking night OH YES IT DOES and NO HE'S NOT BEHIND ME!!

11-01-10 - TEAMWORK SAVES THE DAY AT WELFORD ROAD |

Leicester Tigers chairman Peter Tom CBE saluted the "incredible team effort" which allowed Welford Road to host the only match in a weather-hit Guinness Premiership programme this weekend.
A workforce, including volunteers from local club Oadby Wyggestonian RFC, was also in place on Saturday morning to help clear the terraces and stands after an overnight snowfall, while Leicester City Council operators gritted highways and pavements in the surrounding area. 9/10-01-10 - All home fixtures/training cancelled |
It will come a no surprise to most, but the decision has been made to cancel this weekends fixtures at Oval Park. Apologies to everybody who hasn't played for a month, and is desperate to play.
This decison has been made considering the amount of snow currently on the pitches, and that it, and the pitches under it, are frozen solid.
Also the weather forecast of continuing zero or sub-zero temperatures, meaning it will not thaw out before the weekend, as well as the likelihood of more snow falling in the next 2-3 days.
However, please bear in mind that the clubhouse will be open on Saturday afternoon for the Tigers v Wasps Guinness Premiership match on the telly (3:15PM KO).

The next home fixture is the Junior Vase game against Keresley at home on 2nd January 2010 - this is the last sixteen of the competition.
The following Saturdays see the club hosting Stamford College OB before travelling to Stoneygate and Stamford to complete the first round of League games. |

Former club coach Kiwi Ray Cotterill paid a surprise visit to Leicester this week.
Travelling from Perth, WA he stopped off in Marseilles initially to take in the France v New Zealand international before coming up to Leicester on Sunday. |
